When my daughter was born the grandmas went crazy purchasing baby clips, flower barrettes, and stretch headbands. They were excited because they had never had a girl and couldn't wait to buy hair accessories. They both wanted to make sure that their granddaughter was never mistaken for a boy. Every time they buy an outfit they buy a hair accessory to go with it. Now my daughter has too many baby clips, flower barrettes, and stretch headbands to keep track of.
